Public Invited to Attend Board of Education Candidates Forum

The Community Media Center (CMC) and the Finksburg Planning and Citizens’ Council (FPACC) have partnered to present at Board of Education Candidates Forum on October 27, 2022 starting at 7 p.m. at the Community Media Center, located at 1301 Washington Road, Westminster, MD.

Candidates running for a seat on the Carroll County Board of Education include: Tara Battaglia, Patricia Ann Dorsey, Amanda Jozkowski, James Miller, Tom Scanlan and Steve Whisler. The forum will be moderated by FPACC President Skip Boyles.

The public is invited to attend. Due to limited seating, registration is required. Register online at https://bit.ly/BOEForum Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. and close promptly at 6:45 p.m. The public may submit their questions on site or prior to the forum by emailing them to rblubaugh@carrollmediacenter.org.

The Community Media Center will stream the program live on cable channel HD-1086 and channel 19, on Facebook, YouTube and on the CMC’s website at https://www.carrollmediacenter.org. The forum will be rebroadcast until Election Day and will be available on CMC’s online voters guide for on-demand viewing.

The Community Media Center provides this programming as a public service to the residents of Carroll County. We encourage citizens to learn about all the candidates running in the 2022 General Election and take part in the electoral process.
