Rain expected on September 22nd and then cooler weather expected for Carroll County

There is little question that fall is upon us now. Carroll County is expected to see rain today (September 22nd) and then a wave of cooler weather is expected for our area for a bit.

After the rain and winds pass by today and tonight we are looking at high temps in the high 60’s and low to mid 70s for a few days. Here is a look at the weather forecast via National Weather Service:

Today: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 11am, then scattered showers between 11am and 2pm. High near 77. Breezy, with a south wind 6 to 11 mph becoming northwest 16 to 21 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 48. Northwest wind 13 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 64. North wind 15 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph.

Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 44. Northwest wind 3 to 7 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 71. Northwest wind 3 to 7 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53.

Sunday: A chance of showers after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Sunday Night: A chance of showers before 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 72.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 52.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 70.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 49.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 70.
