With the announcement that Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger will not seek reelection, the race for the seat in Congressional District 2 in Maryland becomes a must watch race in 2024 (at least through the primary).

Maryland Congressional District 2 comprises parts of Carroll and Baltimore counties, as well as small portions of Baltimore City.
