The two sons of French actor Alain Delon were sentenced Wednesday in Paris to suspended fines of 1,000 euros for having recorded or published a private conversation between their sister and their late father, against the backdrop of a succession war.
The children of the French cinema legend, who died in August 2024 at the age of 88, have been tearing each other apart since the beginning of 2024, shortly after the deterioration of his state of health.
Anthony and Alain-Fabien Delon, aged 61 and 32, were also ordered to pay 2000 and 3000 euros to their sister.
The eldest must also delete within 15 days the recording posted on his Instagram account, captured by his brother without Anouchka’s knowledge, on January 5, 2024.
In this conversation, Alain Delon’s daughter is worried about rumors about her father’s state of health.
“They say you’re sweet”
“You are being taken for a moron (…) and I am an idiot who manipulates her father,” we hear. “(They say) that you are spoiled, that Anthony is going to put you under guardianship,” she continues.
Anouchka Delon, absent from the hearing, is “very happy and relieved by this decision which does her justice”, declared one of her lawyers, Me Axelle Schmitz.
“She hopes this decision will make her brothers think about their behavior. What she wants is to turn the page on this affair which has deeply hurt her and she has only one wish: appeasement,” she added.
Only Alain-Fabien attended the hearing to examine the case on March 17, during which he claimed to have only sought to protect Alain Delon.
“I do everything to honor the memory of my father who could not defend himself at the end of his life,” he defended himself.
Anthony and Alain-Fabien believed that their father was being manipulated by their sister who hid his state of health from them and wanted to bring him back to Switzerland for tax reasons, according to them. For her part, Anouchka criticized her brothers for endangering the life of the “Cheetah” actor and claimed to want to take him to Switzerland for treatment.
Relations between the two brothers have since deteriorated.
The youngest of the Delon family also took legal action in September 2025 to cancel his father’s last will, under Swiss law, more favorable to Anouchka.
A “negotiation” with a view to an “amicable” settlement is “still underway” in Switzerland, according to a source close to the matter.
