Patrick Bruel, indicted in several cases of sexual violence, announced Monday on Instagram that he was giving up the tour which was to begin at the beginning of October but which, according to him, has become “the incarnation of a debate that goes beyond it”.
“If I wanted to maintain it until now, it was neither a challenge nor a provocation,” writes the singer, notably indicted for rape and targeted by several investigations. “But I see that today, this tour has become something else. She has become the incarnation of a debate that goes beyond her,” he adds, expressing his “decision to cancel these concerts.”
The singer’s tour was to pass through Geneva on November 18 at the Arena.
Patrick Bruel is accused of harassment or sexual violence by around thirty women. He is indicted for rape, attempted rape, assault or sexual harassment of four women. He is presumed innocent.
