Last Friday, a violent argument broke out between Stéphane Tapie and Fabien Lecoeuvre, during an advertising break on the W9 show “Tout beau tout 9”. The first allegedly punched the second in the head, according to the testimonies of several spectators present in the studio.

Bernard Tapie’s son would not have supported comments made by Lecoeuvre about the mother of his children.

Fabien Lecoeuvre, struck near the temple, fell and lost consciousness. He has since been hospitalized, suffering from headaches and nausea, says his lawyer. A complaint will be filed, according to the latter.

Fired from the set by Cyril Hanouna, Stéphane Tapie explained on the Morandini website: “Lecoeuvre continued to provoke me during the ad. As for me, people don’t talk badly about my family and in particular about my daughter’s mother. So I slapped him, it’s true. And if I had to do it again, I would do it.”

And continued: “He made a movie of rolling on the ground but, honestly, it was just a slap in the face. I protect my family. Violence is not good, it’s true, it must be said and repeated. But at some point, you also have to know how to protect your own.”
