Press Release from Freedom District Lions Club (on July 20th):

The Freedom District Lions Club conducted their second inspection and clean-up of Freedom Park for the month of July on July 19, 2022. The park was relatively free of litter. Following the recent storms, we had anticipated that we might find wind damage but were pleasantly surprised to find no damage to the facilities or equipment. There were some small branches on the hiking trail around the park and they were thrown into the tall grass off the trail.

The Lions clean-up crew for the day pictured left to right: Bernadette Phillips, Gary Buchman, Jim Champ, Don Champ, Mona Ramirez, Tony Ramirez, Patty Buchman and Les Schneiderman.

Not pictured: Barbara Brimigion, Bruce Edwards and Carole Neff.
