Community Media Center of Carroll County has put together 2022 Football Season Previews for all Carroll County Public School System (CCPS) high school football programs. You can see each preview below:
Century Football Season Preview 2022
The Knights are trying to rebound after a 1-8 record in 2021, and coach Dave Ferguson says his team will be better prepared for the upcoming season.
Francis Scott Key Football Preview 2022
The Eagles hosted a postseason game last fall for the first time in 15 years, and new coach David Cunningham hopes FSK is ready to pick up where it left off in 2021.
South Carroll Football Season Preview 2022
Posting a 12-1 record and playing in the 2A-1A state title game last fall gives the Cavaliers little room for improvement, but senior RB AJ Rodgirues & Co. are seeking just that this season.
Manchester Valley Football Season Preview 2022
The Mavericks posted a 7-4 record last fall and won a playoff game, and coach Bernie Koontz has some returning talent this season as Man Valley goes after more success.
Liberty Football Season Preview 2022
The Lions lost several games last season by 1 score or less, and this year’s squad is determined to reverse that trend behind senior QB Jack Pellicciotti.
Winters Mill Football Season Preview 2022
The Falcons went 1-9 last fall and winless against Carroll County opponents, but coach Matt Miller and his players are excited to turn the page and compete in 2022.
Westminster Football Season Preview 2022
The Owls feature a standout receiver in senior Mason Fisher, and coach Chris Bassler says Westminster must start fast in 2022 to secure a winning season heading into the postseason this fall.
