The Carroll County FOP Lodge 20 announced the following endorsements for County Commissioner in 2022 (posts on April 25th):

District 1: Joe Vigliotti

We are pleased to announce our endorsement of Joe Vigliotti for Carroll County Commissioner, District 1. Mr. Vigliotti brings experience from the Taneytown Town Council who we believe will be a well-spoken leader for District 1.

District 2: Dave Reese

We are pleased to announce our endorsement of Dave Reese for Carroll County Commissioner, District 2. Mr. Reese has over 30 years of experience in County Government who promoted his way from a Road Maintenance worker through several management positions and eventually to Deputy Director of Public Works. This front line experience will help him serve the citizens of Carroll County greatly.

District 3: Marsha Herbert

We are pleased to announce our endorsement of Marsha Herbert for Carroll County Commissioner, District 3. Mrs. Herbert was a teacher in Carroll County for over 40 years before getting elected to the Board of Education in 2016. This experience has provided her with the required skills to fulfill the expectations and duties of a County Commissioner.

District 4: Mike Guerin

We are pleased to announce our endorsement of Mike Guerin for Carroll County Commissioner, District 4. Mr. Guerin served in the U.S Army and U.S Coast Guard, and served on the Carroll County Planning and Zoning Commission. He brings leadership qualities from those experiences to best serve Carroll County District 4.

District 5: Ed Rothstein

We are pleased to announce our endorsement of Ed Rothstein for Carroll County Commissioner, District 5. Mr. Rothstein is served over 30 years in the U.S Army reaching the rank of Colonel. He retired as the Garrison Commander of Fort Meade before becoming an economic developer for Anne Arundel County. He has served on the Board of County Commissioners since being elected in 2018 and if re-elected will be the only Commissioner with experience on the Board. Due to his proven leadership and experience, we believe he is the best candidate for Carroll County Commissioner, District 5.
