Carroll County has been a popular spot recently for Democratic candidates running in the 2024 Primary in Maryland. The Observer has seen posts from four different candidates recently. Here are the posts:

David Trone (candidate for Senate in Maryland):

Carroll County Democrats are fired up! Thanks to Corynne Courpas and the
@dems_cc for bringing us together, as well as Flood Zone Marketplace and Brewery staff for hosting. Great to hang out with Delegate @MikeJRogers4, Mayor Mona Becker, Amanda Jozkowski & Muri Dueppen!

Sarah Elfreth (candidate in Congressional District 3):

Kicked off today’s canvass in Carroll County with Slate4StudentSuccess candidates Amanda Jozkowski and Muri Lynn Dueppen. I’m proud to campaign with educator-endorsed Board of Ed candidates!

I should also mention that a prominent Republican also recently visited Carroll County. Former Governor Larry Hogan (and candidate for Senate in Maryland) was in the county back on April 6th as part of his bus tour:
