Frederick County Sheriff’s Office seeks help in identifying a male subject that committed a hit and run in Emmitsburg

UPDATE: Thanks to all the tips we received from the community, we have located the driver/vehicle and he was charged accordingly. We truly appreciate the community relationships we have with all of you.


The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in identifying the individual/vehicle in these photos.

On March 9, at approximately 6:45 p.m. the male subject committed a hit and run in the parking lot of the Jubilee Foods, 515 East Main St, Emmitsburg. He struck another vehicle in the parking lot and fled, no one was injured.

The vehicle appears to be a third generation Ford F-250 single cab, years 2011-2016. The vehicle has tinted windows and no visible front tag.
