Greg sent the following information to The Observer for this article:

Tuesday, August 29, 2023, I officially filed paperwork and declared my candidacy for the Carroll County Board of Education 2024 election. As a dedicated parent of a child in the public school system, educator for over 20 years, professor, administrator with a PhD in Education and Administration, director for over 60,000 students with study abroad, agriculturalist, community volunteer, and much more, I am ready to put my experience to work to protect local control for county residents, promote academic-centered curriculum for students, preserve parental rights, and support economically-sound initiatives. Please visit my website at GregMalveaux.org for full details on my background and ethics.

Greg has a website for his campaign (https://www.gregmalveaux.org/) and currently one campaign related social media channel (Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/people/Malveaux-for-Board-of-Education/100095474679804/). Here is a recent post on social media about his filing:

Two seats on the Carroll County Board of Education will be open in 2024 (Donna M. Sivigny and Marsha B. Herbert are both term limited and can not run again for Board of Education this election cycle).

The candidate filing deadline is Friday, February 9, 2024. (See this information here: https://elections.carrollcountymd.gov/candidateFiling.aspx)
