From Delegate Tomlinson: On the Judiciary Committee (my committee), we hear a lot of difficult testimony. Delegate Jon Cardin has introduced House Bill 427 which will tighten up the Good Samaritan Law and help save drug users’ lives. I certainly will be supporting this legislation. This past week, we heard heartbreaking testimony from this gentleman who lost his son, Sam, to fentanyl recently – please take the time to listen.

And finally…your DC Defenders (XFL) update from this weekend:

The DC Defenders are now 2-0 on the season. The Observer is planning a trip to DC in week 3 to watch the Defenders in person (taking on 2-0 St Louis).
