House fire on Nicholson Road in Carroll County on November 13th

Gamber & Community Fire Co. and neighboring fire departments were alerted for a house fire at approximately 2:45 pm on Sunday, November 13, 2022. The house was in the 3500 Block of Nicholson Road in Westminster.

Fire company units arrived on the scene and discovered a working fire in a two-story single-family dwelling with an attached two-car garage. Fire was showing through the roof of the garage and on the second floor. It had also extended into the attic. All occupants had safely evacuated the structure and there were no reported injuries.

Firefighters used tankers for water supply and established a water drafting site on Bird View Road at the Buc’s Club.
The fire is being investigated by the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
