More than 2,100 votes cast in three days of early voting in Carroll County

Early voting numbers remain good in Carroll County through the first three days (July 7th – 9th) of the 2022 Primary. Early voting runs through July 14th.

Here is a breakdown of early votes cast by location in Carroll County to date in the 2022 Primary (per the State Board of Elections website)

North Carroll Senior Center : 146 | 183 | 116 | 445 total
South Carroll Senior Center : 205 | 239 | 190 | 634 total
Westminster Senior Center: 435 | 348 | 252| 1,035 total
Total votes by day : 786 | 770 | 558 | 2,114 total

Notes:

  • Historically early voting numbers are down on the weekend (days 3 and 4).
  • Westminster remains the most active of the three early voting locations in the county.
  • 558 votes on day 3 the highest recorded on day 3 early voting in the Primary in the 8 day early voting format (see chart below). Given the poor weather on day 3 the numbers were higher than I expected.
