Home in Westminster struck by vehicle in the early morning hours of October 1st

Reported by the Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company on October 1st:

At 12:44 am Saturday October 1st

Reese & Community Volunteers received a call for service. A home in the 1800 block of Dream Mint Way was stuck by a vehicle. Reserve Engine 91 with 4 Volunteers, Assistant Chief along with Brush 95 with one volunteer responded.On arrival Crews discovered a brick home with damage to the garage portion of the home. The Striking vehicle left the scene. Luckily no one in the home was injured. Several parts of the vehicle were scattered throughout the yard.
Command requested a building inspector.

Crews helped tarp and secure the area of the home. While crews were in the process of helping the homeowner the County Sheriff’s Department canvas the area and are currently still searching for and investigating this hit and run. The Carroll County building inspector inspected the damaged and determine the garage portion of home unsafe.
