The 2022 Primary Election Day is just over 48 hours from now (still not sure where to vote in Carroll County on July 19th…check out this link: https://elections.maryland.gov/voting/where.html).

The Observer considered hosting a Primary Election Night Watch Party that evening but there was just not enough time to get it all together…plus with more than 13,000 mail-in ballots sent out in Carroll County it is likely that a number of local races will not be decided that evening…so instead I thought I would promote other events that I have heard about for that evening.

Here is a listing of events happening on July 19th:

Carroll County Republican Central Committee of Maryland will be hosting a gathering, thanks to several candidates, at Green Turtle in Westminister on the patio from 7:30 – closing. This will be open to ALL Republicans. Official announcement coming this weekend. Please stop by.

From: Krista Schultz for the Carroll County Republican Central Committee: Every year we invite volunteers to Winfield Inn after the polls close for food and an open bar while we wait for election results. We would love for you to stop by this Tuesday!

Primary Election Day is one week from today! We hope you’ll join us that evening at O’Lordans Irish Pub!

Thanks to all those who are serving as election judges, helping candidates to campaign, and making sure our friends and neighbors get out and VOTE!

Those are the events I am aware of as of this morning. If there are others that should be listed…be sure to reach out (news@carrollcountyobserver.com or message on Facebook) and I will add them to the list above.
