Day 3 total votes cast in Carroll County: 309
Total votes cast through Day 3: 1,532
- Westminster had the most early voters on day 1, 2 and day 3 (857 votes cast at that location).
Of the 1,532 votes cast through day 3: Party Breakdown
- 471 are registered Democrats (1.42% of eligible voters)
- 1,061 are registered Republicans (1.67% of eligible voters)
The 1,532 votes cast makes up 1.59% of eligible Primary voters in the county. This percentage topped the statewide turnout (1.19% statewide through day 3).
Carroll County ranks 8th highest in terms of % of eligible voter turnout by jurisdiction in the state for Early Voting.

Note: Voters that are registered as “Unaffiliated”, “Libertarian”, and “No Labels Maryland” in Carroll County are unable to participate in the 2024 Primary. The reason is that there are no “Libertarian” or “No Labels Maryland” candidates on the 2024 Primary ballot and the Board of Education candidates are not on the ballot until the 2024 General Election. As of March 2024 the breakout of those registered voters are:
- 30,368 “Unaffiliated” registered voters
- 852 “Libertarian” registered voters
- 4 “No Labels Maryland” registered voters

2024:
- There have been 1,532 votes cast through day 3 of Early Voting in Carroll County (1.59% of eligible voters)
2020: There was no early voting in the 2020 Primary due to COVID
2016:
- There were 1,694 votes cast through day 3 of Early Voting in Carroll County (1.45% of eligible voters)
2012:
- There were 794 votes cast through day 3 of Early Voting in Carroll County (0.71% of eligible voters)
- Note: There were only 6 days of Early Voting in 2016
