Last week (May 19th) 13 jurisdictions in Maryland had moved into the “Medium” level of CDC COVID-19 Community Level. This week (May 26th) the following jurisdictions in Maryland have moved to HIGH COVID-19 Community Level per the CDC:
- Anne Arundel County
- Baltimore City
- Baltimore County
- Dorchester County
- Howard County
- Kent County
- Talbot County
Per the CDC – Recommended actions based on HIGH Community level:
Wear a mask indoors in public and on public transportation. Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines. Get tested if you have symptoms. If you are at high risk for severe illness, consider taking additional precautions.

Of note: 4 of the top 7 vaccinated jurisdictions (Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard and Talbot counties) have all moved into the “HIGH” COVID-19 Community Level per the CDC.
