Famous American supermodel Cindy Crawford said she was “inconsolable” a month after the death in September of her 27-year-old son, model Presley Gerber, in a rehab center in California.
“We are inconsolable for the loss of our beloved son and brother,” she wrote in an Instagram post Sunday on behalf of her family. Cindy Crawford and her loved ones had called for respect for family privacy since the death of Presley Gerber.
Kaia Gerber, the young man’s sister, also paid tribute to him by posting on Sunday on the same Instagram network a letter she addressed to him and a video of them, as children, dancing together.
The model, son of Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, died on September 20 in a Los Angeles rehab center. Born in 1999 in California, Presley Gerber, like his sister Kaia Gerber, started modeling very young, at the age of 16.
In recent years, he had spoken openly on social networks about his problems with drug addiction and his fragile mental health.
