Rockstar has revealed new images of its highly anticipated game.
The French electro duo Justice, emblem of the French Touch, composed the soundtrack for the video game “GTA VI”, publisher Rockstar Games announced on Thursday on the occasion of the release of new images of the highly anticipated sixth opus of this saga.
Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé, the members of Justice, were responsible for designing different themes that will adorn the game. Its release is scheduled for November 19, 13 years after “GTA V”, the second best-selling game in the history of the industry.
The duo unveiled a first title which will be part of this soundtrack: entitled “Flower in a hurricane”, it brings together Tame Impala, their favorite group led by the Australian Kevin Parker, the American artist SZA, and the rockers of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, a band from Melbourne.
Available for streaming, it will also be included in “Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album”, the official compilation of the game which brings together 34 songs.
Rockstar Games already revealed six tracks from this album in September, including a track by rapper Travis Scott produced by Frenchman Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (ex-Daft Punk), and another by Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards.
Revealed in the early 2000s with hits like “DANCE”, “Genesis” or “We are your friends”, Justice released “Hyperdrama”, a fourth studio album in 2024 followed by a world tour of around a hundred dates.
The tandem also won a Grammy Award for the title “Neverender”, on which Tame Impala sings. This is the third Grammy in the career of Justice, who has become one of the ambassadors of the French Touch, this informal banner of French electronic music which is enjoying international success.
In 2025, another French composer, Woodkid, composed the music for the video game “Death Stranding 2”.
