The Misses from all over the world were then accommodated in a hotel in Miami, Florida. Although he had not yet entered politics, the businessman was already famous, in particular for having been the face of the very popular show “The Apprentice”.
“We were received in his hotel, so we met him every day,” explained Camille Cerf on Monday on the set of “Télématin”, on France 2. “At the time, we were all happy to see him, it was funny. We all took photos with him, without imagining that one day he would become president of the United States.”
What was he like? “He was a bit of a funny guy,” she replied, reports “Le Parisen”. “For us French people, he’s the guy we made fun of, the billionaire who was a little clumsy, a little bling-bling, a little stupid, I want to say too.”
The Frenchwoman further clarified that the current tenant of the White House, who was then head of Miss Universe, spoke to all the young women. But especially to her, suggesting that she had not left him indifferent.
The one who was then 20 years old recalled the context: it was shortly after the Charlie Hebdo attacks. “He spoke to me a lot. He ensured my close guard, but himself. He would pick me up from my room himself with a golf cart and take me to breakfast. He was escorting me.”
On its social networks, “Télématin” titled the sequence “Donald Trump’s fixation on Camille Cerf”.
