Carroll County Government will be going over the FY25 proposed budget for the community in five locations across the county over the next week. Here is the schedule:

  • Proposed Budget Roadshow Eldersburg Library- April 24, 2024
  • Proposed Budget Roadshow Mt. Airy Library- April 25, 2024
  • Proposed Budget Roadshow Exploration Commons at 50 East Main Street in Westminster- April 29, 2024
  • Proposed Budget Roadshow Taneytown Library- April 30, 2024
  • Proposed Budget Roadshow Hampstead Library- May 1, 2024

As of April 24th none of the FY 25 Proposed Budget documents are currently online for the public to review. They are expected to be online by the end of the week. You will be able to find them here when they are online: https://www.carrollcountymd.gov/government/directory/management-budget/bureau-of-budget/budget-documents/fy-25-budget-process-documents-presentations/

Observer Note: I find it interesting that the “Proposed Budget Roadshow” is starting without any documents for the public to review. How can residents of the county ask questions without any (or very little) information provided on this budget?

You can view the presentation to the Commissioners on April 23rd (likely to be similar to what residents will see at the “Roadshow” meetings) on YouTube:
