Press release from Carroll County Drug and Firearms Trafficking Task Force on March 4th:
On March 1, 2024, the Carroll County Drug and Firearms Task Force and the Pro ActiveCommunity Enforcement Team [P..A.0 E.] with the assistance of Carroll County Sheriff s Office Crisis Response Team [CRT] executed a Search and Seizure Warrant at a residence in Taneytown where Curtis Tavon Adams was residing.
During the investigation of Adams. Detectives learned he had multiple arrest warrants for Distributing Narcotics, Possession of a Firearm, as well as Assault charges in Harford County, MD. Adams was also a suspect in an Armed Robber on March 1, 2024. During the execution of the Search and Seizure Warrant Adams was located inside the residence and was taken into custody without incident. Recovered from the residence was Heroin, Cocaine, scales, as well as a 9mm handgun. Adams is currently being held at the Carroll County Detention Center on a no bond status for Armed Robbery, drug, and firearm related charges.
