Carroll County Public Schools put out his message around 5:00am on January 10th:
“Schools will open two hours late today, Wednesday, January 10, due to the impact of the overnight storm and to ensure that general road conditions are safe for buses.”

So the kiddos can sleep in a bit this morning.
Carroll County is not the only jurisdiction to open late today…

I had talked to a few residents in the county and heard of some trees down in roads last night…so this is all a good thing…you can see road closures here:
