Today is Election Day for two municipalities in Carroll County (Mount Airy and Sykesville). Here is information about each election:

Mount Airy

2023 Town Election 

The Town of Mount Airy will host an election on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 to fill three Town Council seats.

Each elected position is sworn in for a four year term.

General Election Information

Date: Tuesday, May 2, 2023

Time: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Sykesville

Election Day is May 2, 2023. The polling location is the Town House, 7547 Main Street. Polls are open 8 AM to 8 PM. At times, there may be a line to enter the polls. Please maintain your social distance in line. The number of people allowed in the polling room at once may be limited to allow for proper distancing and safety. Once you have voted, you must exit the building.

There are three Council Member positions up for election this year.

Jeremiah Schofield
