Gas prices are on the rise again in Maryland. The average price of gas is up over 10 cents over the past week and is up over 24 cents over the past month. Here is a look at the prices as of April 13th: https://gasprices.aaa.com/?state=MD

If gas prices stay above $3.50 The Observer will begin tracking and reporting on gas prices as we have done in the past.

The Town of Hampstead Election will be held at Town Hall on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. One (1) Mayoral and two (2) Town Council seats are open. Incumbents Mayor Chris Nevin, Council Member Deborah Painter and Council Member David Unglesbee are running to retain their seats
