Three major take aways from this video:

“the math is starting to work out to be one teacher per, in some cases, 75 students and we can’t fit 75 students in a classroom”

“so we are starting to look at fire code as our guide for how many students per teacher and certainly we never thought we would get to the point where safety and fire code was dictating you know our instructional pedagogy”

“and as I’ve been saying all along our school system is not going to look the same in 2 years and you know they really need to take that statement seriously”

Superintendent Cynthia McCabe will host two town halls to discuss the implications of the recent Blueprint legislation on our schools (March 20th and April 19th). There will be a brief presentation, discussion with the Superintendent and key staff, and a question and answer period. https://bit.ly/3mlEbyA
