I do not often write about these type of events (because it is hard to keep track with them all) but this one has special meaning for me…I will be the moderator of this event. This is my first opportunity to moderate a candidate event here in Carroll County but hopefully not my last chance this election cycle.

This event is expected to be well attended and will have “candidate booths / tables” for candidates running in other races. I am betting that some candidates for County Commissioner, Senate and Delegate in District 5 or 42C as well as others may be at this event to meet with attendees. If I get a listing of other candidates that will be participating via the booths / tables – I will be sure to share that list with the readers.

Of note: Scott E’s Blog will be retired / discontinued at the time of this event. I may do additional “SPECIAL AFTER RETIREMENT POSTS” for this event here on the Blog or there may be a chance that after I take my break the new potential entity (Carroll County Observer) will be fully developed and a new website launched for that project. As a participant (moderator) I will be sure to do all I can to help make this event a success.

For the latest information on this event I would recommend following these Facebook pages:
