A figure skater, whose identity has not been released, was suspended for three years after committing several sexual acts on his ice dancing partner, who was then a minor. The Swiss Sports Court (TSS) found him guilty of attacks on the sexual and psychological integrity of the young athlete, indicates Swiss Sport Integrity (SSI).

The events took place between December 2022 and July 2024. During this period, the skater imposed several behaviors of a sexual nature on his partner without her consent. These include unwanted touching, sexual harassment, exhibition of genitals, presentation of pornographic content and coercion to perform sexual acts.

Humiliations on the ice

The athlete was also found guilty of attacks on the psychological integrity of his partner. In particular, he would humiliate him and shout at him on the ice, in front of other people.

The affair came to light in September 2024, when a report reached SSI. The organization immediately took provisional measures against the skater before opening an investigation.

After several months of investigations, the file was transmitted to the TSS in December 2025. A hearing was then held in June 2026, in which the young skater participated by videoconference.

20 behavioral coaching sessions

In its decision, the court found the victim’s statements credible and found several violations of the ethical rules of Swiss sport.

During his three-year suspension, the skater will no longer be able to practice pair figure skating. He is also prohibited from teaching, supervising or participating in training involving minor athletes.

He will also have to follow at least 20 behavioral coaching sessions and pay 5,000 Swiss francs in procedural costs.
