Former companion of Hayden Panettiere, who died Sunday at the age of 36, Wladimir Klitschko paid tribute to her, saying he was “deeply shocked” by the disappearance of the actress with whom he had a daughter, now 11 years old.
“The news of Hayden’s tragic death devastates me. She left us far too soon. Even if she was no longer my partner, Hayden remained an important person in my life and the mother of our daughter, Kaya,” the 50-year-old ex-boxer wrote on his Instagram account.
The Ukrainian, former world heavyweight champion, underlines the immense talent of the deceased, who had to face, he says when speaking of his profession, “the darkest aspects of a very demanding industry.”
“To our daughter Kaya, I will always speak of her mother with respect and I will make sure that she remembers who she was,” underlines Wladimir Klitschko, before sending his condolences to Hayden’s parents, his friends, his fans.
Asking for respect for his family’s pain and privacy, he ended by writing: “Rest in peace, Hayden. May eternal peace accompany you. #WeLoveYouHayden.” The text is accompanied by an old photo of the couple, with the little girl on the shoulders of the deceased, her face hidden to preserve her.
Famous for her roles in the series “Heroes” and “Nashville,” Hayden Panettiere was found unresponsive on Sunday in South Carolina. According to the latest known information, the death could be due to an “overdose”, although we do not yet know whether it was caused by drugs or medication.
