Christophe Lambert was hospitalized this weekend, after falling ill in the United States. At 69, the “Highlander” star attended Steel City Con, a pop culture convention near Pittsburgh, on Saturday.
The interpreter of Tarzan in “Greystoke” suddenly collapsed in front of the eyes of the public, in the middle of a signing session.
The actor was taken by ambulance to the nearest hospital to undergo examinations. If the incident caused great concern, the news of his health is reassuring.
His communications team quickly spoke out to confirm that the actor was “perfectly fine.” After this short stay in the emergency room, the star was able to return to his hotel room, in order to rest peacefully.
According to statements from those close to him, this discomfort is linked to intense fatigue. Christophe Lambert suffered from a lack of sleep accumulated the previous night, coupled with insufficient nutrition throughout the day.
Revealed worldwide in 1984 by Hugh Hudson in “Greystoke, the Legend of Tarzan”, the actor leads a life shared between France and the United States.
