According to the media Deadline, specializing in Hollywood news, Vincent Pastore was found dead on Saturday in his residence in the Bronx, New York. His manager, Robert Attermann, confirmed to AFP, without giving details of his death.
Often seen as a gangster, briefly in “Goodfellas” by Martin Scorcese and “L’Impasse” by Brian de Palma, he is best known for having played “Big Pussy”, the right-hand man of mafioso Tony Soprano, who then became an FBI informant after being arrested by the federal police. Spoiler alert: His assassination at the end of season 2 (out of 6) by his former comrades remained one of the most emblematic scenes of the series.
