The Serbian Novak Djokovic (8th in the world) won without trembling on Wednesday against the former world No.3 Stefanos Tsitsipas (current 87th) to reach the third round of Wimbledon. The seven-time winner of the tournament, seeking a record 25th Grand Slam title in London, won 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 against the Greek.
During the match, reports AFP, the Serb was in a teasing mood, making a ball girl believe that she had injured him by cutting a label from his T-shirt with scissors.
Djokovic quickly laughed, to the great relief of his victim, who also started laughing, notes Reuters.
“This kind of thing happens when you’re down two sets to zero rather than when you’re down two sets to zero. But sorry if I scared her… it relaxed me on the court. I was just having fun,” Djoko commented after the match.
