Italian Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati-VR46) took third place, more than a second behind the grid leader.
Untouchable since the end of the 2025 season and favorite for this year, his transalpine compatriot Marco Bezzecchi on Aprilia was also supplanted in qualifying and will start from the 2nd row.

After the second free practice session and the qualifying sessions which were held partly in the rain on Saturday morning, the drivers will compete in the sprint race (12 laps) at 3:00 p.m. (1:00 p.m. GMT).
