Major Endorsement: Proud to have the support of the Professional Fire Fighters of Maryland!
Our first responders keep our communities safe every day. In doing so they face the real risk of cancer – which is now the leading cause of line-of-duty deaths for fire fighters. In the Maryland Senate, I led the fight – the George “Walter” Taylor Act – to remove cancer-causing chemicals from firefighting gear and household objects like couches and rugs.
The Professional Fire Fighters of Maryland know I will continue to fight for the health and safety of first responders in Congress! I’m incredibly grateful to have their endorsement!
