Missing Person Update – (November 19th)
UPDATE 11/19/23 (Please see updated photos) —- On 11/15/23 at approximately 3:30pm, 15 year old Athena Jade Huff left her residence in Eldersburg, MD to go to a local playground and did not return home. Huff has had no contact with friends or family since that time. Huff was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with red writing, black pants, purple slide sandals/slippers, and dark socks. The following information is from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office on November 17th:
On 11/15/23 at approximately 3:30 PM Athena Jade Huff (W/F 10/06/08) left her residence in Eldersburg, MD to go to a local playground and did not return home. Huff is described as 5’ 02”, 150 LBS with brown eyes and brown, above the shoulder length hair. Huff was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with red writing, black pants, purple slide sandals and dark socks.

Just spoke with the Carrol County Sheriff’s Office Detective, and he is working with 2-3 other detectives on finding Athena, they have a few leads from parents of students of the kids she goes to school with. So, they are looking into those. They are going through her home computer, school computer and IPad looking for anything that could provide them with information on where she is. The detective said one of the leads sounds like it has some good information on who she might be with. There have been 3 detectives working on her case continuously since about noon today. Det. Owens said he, and his fellow det. are going to keep at it all night, for as long as they possibly can before having to go home and sleep and rest up, then they will be back on it ASAP after that. They will contact me with any updates. I’ll try to keep this updated. Thank you so much for all that everyone is doing. I am feeling very weak and having a hard time focusing on pretty much everything. I’m just making sure that I am taking care of myself and Aeralynn. Kaise is sharing the news with his friends and they are sharing/posting what has happened on their social media accounts. There has been a fairly steady amount of tips being called in as well. When she is found I’ll contact Cathy directly and hopefully she can get the news out to everyone. I am feeling more positive about her being found, but we will continue to need a lot of help even after she comes home. Please continue to pray for her protection and safety and for her to be found tonight!
