Maryland Office of the Attorney General’s Independent Investigations Division release State Police Fatal Trooper-Involved Shooting videos in Sykesville from June 4, 2023.

The decedent has been identified as 52-year-old Jack Cimino, Jr. of Sykesville.


The involved Maryland State Police trooper has been identified as Sergeant Jesse Hartsock. Sgt. Hartsock is a 15-year veteran assigned to the Field Operations Bureau.
