Information via Press Release on May 16th:

This year’s redistricting resulted in most of Carroll County and a portion of Baltimore County being represented by Congressional District 2, which is currently the district of incumbent Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger.  No longer is any portion of Carroll represented by Congressman Andy Harris, who was the only Republican Congressman in Maryland.

There are six notable Republicans running in the newly created Congressional District and Carroll and Baltimore County citizens can meet and greet them at the Tri-District Republican Club Congressional Forum on Monday, May 23, 2022.   All candidates have been invited and four have confirmed to participate to date.

This is a winnable race for the Republicans.  It is important for citizens to learn who they believe will best represent District 2 in the US Congress in 2022 and get out the vote for this most important primary, Tuesday, July 19th!

The Congressional District Two forum event will be held at CMFI auditorium at 40 S. Church Street Westminster, MD 21157 with concessions available at 6:30 PM and meeting starting at 7PM.   All are invited as we celebrate lucky penny day, meet and greet Congressional Candidates and others running for office who will have displays for citizens viewing, and enjoy concessions available all evening.   No reservations necessary.
