After the LHC, it is Fribourg-Gottéron which is subject to Langnau’s law

Langnau definitely does not suit the Romands this week. After the big disappointment in Lausanne the day before, it was the Friborgs who were defeated by the Tigers.

Everything started well for Rönnberg’s men. A controlled first period, penalties avoided and a superb combination concluded with a goal from Borgstrom (17th).

The second third was just as interesting for the visitors. Despite favorable stats and two numerical advantages in favor of Langnau, it was Friborg who proved to be the most dangerous. The Dragons hit the uprights three times and reacted well with Borgstrom’s double (24th) after the equalizer conceded (23rd).

The third period resonated hollowly for the Dragons. Despite two new attempts which failed on the uprights, it was the Emmentalois who were more incisive and who seemed to have more juice in their legs. The equalization of Mathys (48th) heralded the revolt of Paterlini’s team and gradually extinguished the Fribourgeoises. Petersson was then able to give his team the advantage (54th) before Bachofner finished the job in the empty cage. (60th)

With this second victory in two days, the Langnau Tigers overtake their evening opponents and place themselves on the National League podium while the Friborgs go the opposite way.
