American President Donald Trump on Wednesday called on data center builders to pay “dividends” to local residents to avoid conflicts on this subject which has become an issue in the legislative elections on November 3. “If companies want to make their data centers popular, let them pay a dividend to the community and/or the people within that community,” the US president wrote on his Truth Social platform.

“I watched the process closely and data centers that were extremely unpopular in one location became extremely popular once a financial deal was reached. SIGN AGREEMENTS, and get it built!!! GREAT FOR THE UNITED STATES,” he added.

Donald Trump is a strong supporter of building data centers to ensure American hegemony in the field of artificial intelligence. But conflicts are increasing in the United States around these data centers, which have become an issue in the mid-term elections scheduled in two weeks, which promise to be complicated for the president’s Republican party.
