“I thought I was dying”: Laurence Boccolini victim of poisoning

“You are the weak link, goodbye!” Pronounced in a cold voice and with a piercing look when eliminating a candidate, this iconic phrase made Laurence Boccolini, host of the show “Le Maillon weak” on TF1, famous for many years. She may also have offended more than one.

In the past, Laurence Boccolini has several times mentioned the hostility towards him from certain people who confused television and reality. This role, tinged with a cold and brittle attitude, almost cost her her life, according to her story, when she presented “The Weak Link”.

New columnist for Cyril Hanouna’s show “Tout beau, tout neuf”, Laurence Boccolini recounted how she was allegedly the victim of an attempted poisoning in a restaurant. “When I drank my coffee, there was like bleach in it, there was ammonia, there was chili, there was pepper,” she explained. It was terrible. I thought I was going to die.”

Left without making a fuss

The host is convinced that she was the target of a malicious act. “I should have been wary because everyone recognized me even though I had a cap. It was horrible. I thought I was less recognized, but I saw the waiters laughing.”

If she claims to have escaped without serious consequences, Laurence Boccolini however has one regret: having left without saying anything. “Rather than keep the cup, call the cops and file a complaint, I left because I was with someone who didn’t want a fuss.”
