Cristina Cordula and Frédéric Cassin have been married for nine years, but their daily life is far from that of a traditional couple. The host and her husband have in fact chosen not to live under the same roof. An organization which, according to the Franco-Brazilian, precisely contributes to the longevity of their history.
Questioned by Carla Ghebali in her podcast about this particular lifestyle, Cristina Cordula does not hide her enthusiasm. “I love it!”, she responds spontaneously.
The former host of “Shopping Queens” has already experienced a much more close-knit life as a couple. “I’ve been in a marriage before, I’ve been with someone 24 hours a day. I know what it is,” she explains.
When she met Frédéric Cassin in 2013, Cristina Cordula had already built her life. “I already had my background, my life, my independence, my work, my son.” For his part, the businessman then shared his daily life between several Asian countries.
Neither of them wanted to upset everything. “I’m not going to go to Asia, he doesn’t want to live here,” she summarizes. The couple meets regularly, especially during the holidays, and organizes their schedule according to their availability.
“We are very good as we are”
A formula that suits him perfectly: “We are very happy as we are so we see each other periodically, during the holidays, we organize ourselves. I’m very happy, and I think he is too!”
For Cristina Cordula, preserving a certain independence is even beneficial to the relationship. “I think that fusional love is not good.”
