She’s finally back. Saturday evening, Celine Dion returned to the stage for the first time in six years. For nearly 2h30, the Quebec star performed some 25 songs in front of an audience who came to witness this highly anticipated return.
To prepare for this big moment, the singer had packed her bags in Paris on August 28. And she plans to stay there: her stay in the French capital is expected to last two months. Accompanied by her three sons, René-Charles, Nelson and Eddy, Céline Dion chose to settle in an establishment that she knows well, the Royal Monceau – Raffles.
Since his arrival, many fans have been waiting for him in front of the hotel. The singer regularly takes the time to meet them and exchange a few words with them.
Two fully privatized floors
For this long stay, Céline Dion did not do things by halves. According to the magazine “Closer”, she has privatized the first two floors of the palace, i.e. around fifty rooms and suites. Enough to accommodate his family, but also his musicians, his team and the medical staff who accompany him constantly.
The star would particularly appreciate the Royal Monceau for its security and discretion. Located in a building dating from the 1920s, the five-star establishment promises “a luxurious and timeless experience” and notably features a 23-meter swimming pool, a 1,500 m² spa, a cinema and several gourmet restaurants.
A luxury that obviously comes at a price. Still according to the same source, the bill for the two months of stay would reach some 5 million euros before negotiations.
