Julien Sprunger wasted no time in drawing the first outlines of his post-career. Emblematic captain of Fribourg-Gottéron, the striker retired from sport following the Swiss championship title won by the Dragons, the first in their history, last April.
For its future, one of the projects of the legendary No. 86 is obviously communication. As noted by “La Liberté” in the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce (FOSC), Julien Sprunger set up his own company, of which he is the sole shareholder. He soberly titled it: J.Sprunger Sàrl.
Based in Estavayer-le-Lac, its commune, the company will be active in the field of communication in the broad sense. “The company aims to organize conferences, advise and support companies and individuals, in the field of advertising, communication and marketing as well as the exploitation, management and valorization of image rights,” indicates the SOGC.
In a column published in “La Liberté” in October 2024, Julien Sprunger already explained that he had thought about the future and prepared for his future after ice hockey. He notably obtained a federal certificate in business management.
