Swiss Marlen Reusser takes the yellow jersey

Swiss Marlen Reusser won the 4th stage of the Tour de France Women on Tuesday, a 21-kilometer time trial between Gevrey-Chambertin and Dijon where she took the leader’s yellow jersey from Norwegian Sigrid Haugset.

The Frenchwoman Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, title holder, finished far away, in 34th position, conceding 2 minutes and 13 seconds to the Bernoise.

In search of a double, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot especially conceded 1 minute 55 minutes to the Dutchwoman Demi Vollering, 3rd in the stage, presented as the other big favorite of the Grande Boucle.

Announced as the first key moment in the race for final victory on August 9 in Nice, the time in Burgundy unsurprisingly crowned Marlen Reusser, the world champion of the exercise, who beat the Dutchwoman Lieke Nooijen by three seconds.
