Stan Wawrinka will bid farewell to Swiss fans in Basel

After saying goodbye to French-speaking Switzerland during the Geneva Open, Stan Wawrinka (ATP 113) will say his final farewell to the Swiss public at the Swiss Indoors in Basel between October 24 and November 1. The organizers confirmed this on Friday afternoon.

The end of his brilliant career will be celebrated on Monday October 26 on the occasion of Super Monday and he will enter the running the following day.

In addition to the Vaudois, three players from the top 10 will be on display at the Halle Saint-Jacques: Félix Auger-Aliassime (ATP 6), recent quarter-finalist at Roland-Garros and double winner of the Basel tournament, Ben Shelton (ATP 5) and Taylor Fritz (ATP 9).

Among the big names already announced, we will also note those of the Brazilian title holder Joao Fonseca (ATP 30), also quarter-finalist of the 2026 edition of Roland-Garros, Jiri Lehecka (ATP 12) and the Frenchman Arthur Fils (ATP 20).
