Bayern Munich qualified for the German Cup final by winning 2-0 on Wednesday evening at Bayer Leverkusen, six days before their Champions League semi-final first leg in Paris against PSG.
For their first German Cup final since 2020, the Munich residents will face the winner of the second semi-final between Stuttgart and Freiburg, who face each other on Thursday (8:45 p.m.) at the Neckar Stadion in Stuttgart.
Bayern logically opened the scoring in the first period with Harry Kane (22nd), found by Jamal Musiala, to score his 52nd goal of the season. Dominant, Manuel Neuer’s teammates only took cover in added time of the second half by Luis Diaz (90th + 3).
