According to revelations from the TF1 show “Sept à Huit” broadcast on Sunday, a volunteer masseuse from Paléo denounced the behavior of Patrick Bruel, during a massage organized backstage at the festival, on July 28, 2019.
The masseuse explains that the singer presented himself to her naked. He had asked for a pubic massage. A complaint was then filed by the volunteer. An agreement between the two parties concluded the deal.
Bruel would have paid several thousand euros to an association in favor of immigrant women, according to “Sept à Huit”.
The affair was confirmed to “20 Minutes” by the Paléo Festival, whose officials explained that they had been informed of unacceptable behavior by the artist the week following the festival.
“Legal proceedings were initiated which concluded in 2022 with an agreement between the parties including a confidentiality clause. We respected his decision. It is not up to us to legally qualify the facts, Paléo explains to our colleagues. We believe and support our volunteer.”
Paléo also explains that it has strengthened its prevention measures since this affair. And says he no longer wants to invite Patrick Bruel in the future.
The singer’s lawyer, for his part, declared regarding this affair that there was no gesture from Patrick Bruel towards the volunteer masseuse. Conciliation was proposed by the prosecution, as is customary in Switzerland for minor allegations. It was accepted by the plaintiff and Patrick Bruel.
