The mayor of Paris, Emmanuel Grégoire, estimated Wednesday on France 2 that Patrick Bruel should “put his career on hold” and himself cancel his concert planned for October 8 at the Zénith in Paris, in the face of investigations for sexual violence targeting the artist.

“The presumption of innocence must be guaranteed, but including for the serenity of his defense, I think that he should indeed withdraw,” declared the elected official during the program “The 4 truths”, refusing however to ask the prefect to ban the show.

Furthermore, three Patrick Bruel concerts planned for December in Quebec have been canceled, the Gestev events agency responsible for the organization announced on Tuesday.

We do not know, for the moment, if the singer’s concerts planned for this summer in Switzerland will be maintained.
